02 Japan Village Brooklyn

Japan Village Brooklyn is a hub for all things Japanese. I established a clear brand identity for the location to stand out amongst other shops and markets that cater to a similar consumer base. Highlighting the unique Japanese style design aspect of Japan Village increased the engagement rate on platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.

Goal: Push events, increase likes, and engage more with their target audience by location and interests
Result: Sold out several annual events, increased page likes, and increased local awareness

03 ‘The Loft’ at Japan Village

The Loft at Japan Village was created to stand out from the Japan Village itself, while still remaining as part of the established Japanese cultural identity in the entire space. Bringing awareness to a different aspect of Japanese culture was crucial in creating a new brand identity for The Loft that is separated from food and groceries. Growing an organic audience and bringing awareness to the opening of The Loft was the main focus.

Goal: Push events, establish a new identity, grow audience, and engage more with their target audience by location and interests
Result: Sold out several limited events, increased page likes, and increased local awareness

04 TAGMO & TAGMO Sweets

An intimate Indian restaurant, bar and mithai shop (indian sweets), TAGMO has an establish brand identity as a celebration of South Asian cuisine and queer empowerment. The main focus of social media marketing are restaurant, sweets, and cultural awareness.

Goal: Push events, grow audience, and engage more with their target audience by location and interests
Result: Sold out several limited events, support local community, increasing website traffic for purchases, increased page likes, and increased local awareness
